Geared For Repair
It has only been six days since I was first told I have cancer. Yet, within that short time frame I’ve already had one MRI, one mammogram, two ultrasounds, one biopsy, a massive blood panel taken, two urine analyses, and have met with six doctors. My team of doctors and specialists are recognized as some of the best in their field in the entire country. If one is wise when preparing for battle, he/she will recruit an army who has prepared for years to fight the fight. Well, I too felt it important to have an experienced team ready to put on the armor. Today, a friend said “Didn’t anyone ever teach cancer the rule: You should never pick a fight you can’t win. Cancer didn’t know who it was dealing with when it chose Elaine.”
I’m ready for the fight!
