Everyone Loves a Slinky
My husband was talking to a friend about my forgetfulness (aka “Chemo-Brain”). He compared me to a Slinky. His friend looked at him curiously and said, “Why is that?” My husband sarcastically replied, “Well…, she’s not of much practical use, but it’s a lot of fun to watch her fall down the stairs.”
His friend was astonished at the callousness of his reply until he remembered all the irreverently funny remarks Steve has previously made and have been recorded on “The Lighter Side.” Then he realized he was only joking . . . . . I think!
